Although this is the case with any vehicle, monitoring condition and maintaining the brake system on a Clipper bus is especially important. Being unable to stop a 20,000+ lb. vehicle is an event none of us wants to experience. Yet it can happen, and thus maintaining our brakes must be regarded as a special responsibility of the owner of a Flx – or any other converted bus.
